What do I need to send, fax or E-Mail?

New Residences or Additions:
  • Floor Plan(s) with North Arrow.
  • Roof Plan (for skylights and overhangs, if any).
  • Elevations (to scale) or Window Schedule or Sizes marked on Floor Plans.
  • Sections or Floor Type and Wall Heights.
  • Insulation planned for wall, floors, roofs (if other than required minimums).
  • Glazing Types (single/dual pane, metal/wood/vinyl/frames, U-values if other than standard glass).
Required Existing Residence Information For Lenient  Addition Compliance:
  • Demolition floor plans showing existing walls to be covered by addition.
  • Existing windows to remain or be replaced (marked on plan or by elevations to scale).
  • Roof Plan (for skylights and overhangs, if any).
  • Existing glazing type(s) (single/dual pane, metal/wood/vinyl frames, U-values if other than standard glass.
  • Proposed Floor Plan (if separate from demo plan) with North Arrow.
  • Proposed Roof Plan (especially for skylights).
  • Proposed Windows (By schedule, elevations to scale - or marked on plans).
  • Sections or written information about the Floor Type and Ceiling / Wall Heights.
  • Insulation upgrades marked on plans.
  • Glazing upgrades (i.e. replacements) marked on plans.
Non-Residential (Commercial)
Envelope
  • Floor Plan with North Arrow & Roof Plan (if skylights)
    (If not a stand-alone building, please advise where the space is surrounding by other conditioned space)
  • Elevations or Window Schedule or Window Sizes Marked on Plans
    (Please include any information regarding overhangs or awnings to be used if not shown on plan)
  • Type of Glazing and Frames planned if other than standard storefront type.
  • Sections or Floor Type and Ceiling  Heights information.
  • Wall/Roof Construction (include insulation planned or in use, metal/wood stud, etc.)
HVAC (Mechanical)
  • All five  (5) envelope items above.
  • Floor Plans or Mechanical Plans showing desired zoning.
  • Equipment Schedule which should include equipment selection, exhaust fans and hot water source selections. 
  • Lighting Load (if we are not currently providing these calculations and available. If not available we will model the default value for the occupancy.)
  • Occupant Load.
Lighting
  • Floor Plan and/or Reflected Ceiling  Plan showing task areas within space and ceiling heights.
  • Fixture / Lighting Schedule.
  • Interior elevations and/or information for lighted display elements in the space (i.e., merchandise cases, wall units, art work, menu boards, etc.)
